This bridge which is the largest one in Isfahan
was constructed in 1602 A.D. at the order of shah Abbas (I) . The reason it
was called Allahverdi Khan was after one of the safavid famous war
commanders and it was called 33 arches. The bridge is 300m long and 14m wide
