One of the most interesting and oldest surviving
villages to visit, which was completely Zoroastrian until the time of the
Safavid king, Shah Ismail I, in whose reign most of the villages emigrated
to India or to Yazd, Even today their colorful costume, traditional way of
life and ancient dialect are still practically unchanged.
The remains of a
Sassanian atashkadeh and a pre Seljug mosque add to the interest of the
visit.
